Clifford Hunter, 84, of Waldo, passed away November 16, 2009 at Palm Gardens. Mr. Hunter was born in Jasper, Fl and has been a life long resident of the area. He was a carpenter and a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Agnes Hunter of Hilo, Hawaii, and by siblings Gladys Rosier, Eva Phellam, and Arthur R. Hunter, Jr. He is survived by sons Clifford “Bruce” Hunter (Connie) of Gainesville, Gordon Gene Hunter of Waldo, and daughter Carolyn Glendening (Don), of Gainesville, grandchildren, Alan Hunter, Michael Hunter, Cindea Glendening and Maranda Glendening, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 19. The family will reseive friends at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave, Wednesday, November 18 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
