Thomas H. Rinkoski, 82, of Gainesville passed away on July 1, 2010 at the Village of Gainesville. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he moved to Florida in 1986 following his retirement from Ford Motor Company. In Detroit, he worked as a Field Warranty Analyst after a long career in the automotive industry. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps. Tom enjoyed fishing and motor-boating in the Great Lakes.
Tom’s primary focus was his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosaria M. Rinkoski. His sons are Thomas (Theresa) of Gainesville, Timothy (Lynne) of Chicago, IL and Daniel (Rebecca) of Ann Arbor, MI. He and his wife were grandparents to Marie, Tommy, Brian and Danny and great-grandparents of 5.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 9:30 AM at Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 NW 43rd Street, Gainesville, with Father John Phillips presiding. Inurnment, with military honors will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
